...for those that don't know, Mr.Mac's car is the orange '27 T sedan with the ultra-rare Mercury Meteor boat engine... (he claims it's a Ford).

 

Your not trying to imply the engine is a boat anchor are you Larry?

is that a 430 ci engine by any chance ?I have an old drag car A/Altered that ran 10:32 @138.08 using 430 merc with 8 dueces

Not a 430, its a 390. I ran this engine in a 57 ford drag car for alot of years,it ran 11.99 on alky.The altered sounds way cool.

 

How did you get photos with dry pavement? We drove through hard rain for 2 1/2 hours to get there on Saturday because we were told the rain would "clear up by noon," and it rained the entire time we were there! (And the entire way home.)

Great show last weekend. I only got to be there on Saturday, but I had a great time! Rain and all. Next year, I will try to make it for all three days.

I think I moved up to trophy ****....(But it don't matter to me I just like to go and hang out with everyone thats the best reward)

 

Driving there and hanging out is the best reward. But the BIG TOOT award rocks !!!!
