Listen close & you can hear the announcer say "11.64 @120" my wife thought he said 11.54. Not to shabby having never driven on a strip before. If I can get me some traction off the line & shift quicker, I should do better. This run is 11.64 @ 120 W/ An awful reaction of 1.05 & a no traction 60ft. of 1.96. I got in 11 or so passes, most in the 12's & 13's cause I'm having trouble hooking but I did Get 4 mid to high 11 sec. passes. The best being 11.5025@121.65. Wow what a blast! I ran all day w/ 10-14 sec camaros w/ automatic trannys that arrived on trailers. At the end of the day, I drove my little coupe w/ a stickshift off into the approaching stormclouds. What a day!

Yea I'm hooked alright! Not sure who I was running against in this clip but it was a neat little duece roadster w/ the look. Whoever he was, he was very freindly as were most in attendance. Swell buncha guys all of em. The guys w/ their exhibition alterds were excited w/ the car & gave me some pointers. Hell of a day! Wow! It's Monday & I'm still high on it!

My little flathead ran 16's and I giggled like an idiot for a week afterwards - can't imagine running mid-11's for my first run! Yer car rocks.
congrats, the video was really cool!!! And you said you made 11 passes and drove home...that's great. I bet all those "trailer queens" thought they had it good. You probably passed them on the highway too.... ....I cant wait to make my first pass. I know it will be all over after that. Thanks for sharing
Day of the Drags is gonna be "off the hook", as the kids say. Do they still say that? Congrats on the first day out. Way better runs than I would have expected. I looked over the numbers you sent me from your runs, again. If you put your good 60ft times with some good shifts, you'll be creaping up on 10's. Time for a roll cage! We'll get out there soon. You'll have to spot me a half track, but it'll be fun!
Too Phuckin' cool to go outon a 1st date and run a 11. Tighten up on the shifts and you'll do some good, man thats fast right outta the box! Nice vid too.

It may have been your first time out but you were well armed and equiped. That's a pretty tough combination. You made 11 runs over what length of time? What maintanence, if any, did you perform between runs? Obviously you didn't break anything. And drove it home too. Pretty sweet.
1st run was in the 12's. 2nd in the 13's. 3rd 13's Then 11's on the 4th run. I got in 11 or 12 runs that day because the turnout was small. Never touched or tweeked the mill. Just stab,steer,shift, all day. I may play w/ the carbs & timing @ a test n tune night. Mostly I ran in the 12's & 13's cause i need to learn to launch but I did get in 4 11 sec. Passes oevr the afternoon.

Keep working with it, it sounds like your leaving a couple of tenths on the table with your shifting and you may want to consider a cage now. My best time is a 11.44 @ 124 in the 37 launched @3,000 with a .525 light, 1.73 60ft. Im also running a mouse but with a now tired muncie. It took me quite some time to get in the 11s , it sure wasn't on the first couple of passes though...damn.
