    Hi
This is just a heads up for anyone who may have bought one of these, I fitted this a few years ago at mock up stage and recently stripped my ch***is down for paint and noticed the mount has been machined so thin it has cracked without ever having been on the road,
So if anyone has bought and fitted 20180426_141756.jpg one of these I would suggest you inspect it.
    Regards Graham 20180426_141746.jpg

I think he went as hot rod Jon hence the HRJ cast into it I have no record of his details, I bought it off ebay a few years ago when I could not find an original, not so easy to come by in the UK. I have now fitted an original.

HotRodJohn also mfd. the '37 LaSalle long stainless shift sticks, very tough project. (tough to do, and tough when finished!...also 'tough' at $200 a pop)
Other products were well designed, but 'pricey'. This is the first of this product I'd seen...Yes, thin.

HotRod John has been notorious for making substandard parts for quite a while. He's been discussed on here several times. He may have had some successes but also some failures.

If you want to learn about other HotRodJohn products, do a search on Unisteer here on the HAMB.

That's sad to hear, I hope nobody has taken over making these parts.
