  4. I hope it works as well as it looks, I still think it is a great space saver and if over built should be reliable with minimal flex. Bravo.

You'll be amazed at how much better she rides with a little wider tire ( and the smaller diameter makes the whole car sit better, IMO)

Nice coupe, be sure to check those starter bolts often. That engine in a boat application has a bracket that mounts to the block on the threaded hole by the fuel pump and the long bolt that holds the starter together. With out that support it will loosen and sheer the starter mounting bolts. Seen it happen many times, just my 2cents.

You are totally right on that. I have this motor in my 36 Ford pickup as well broke two of those bolts before I got it squared away. Just found a bracket the other day for this one

Not to knock your thread off track, but I just bought a 30 Briggs. I am building a nice banger engine and this will be my project. I have been following yours and like the way it turned out. I will start a thread on the build later as it will be a couple months before I start.

  22. Great place to start. Add your general location to your profile so people can recommend local sources as time goes on.

JT, how much did you lower the front end and how did you do it? I just looked through you thread and didn't really see how. I am preparing (mentally) to cut off the mustang 2 on my 30 Tudor and want it to look like yours. Thanks, Paul .
