I love this shit... And oddly, my very first "car memory" was watching this with my mom:

I remember this one, too. I think I was with MY Mom when I first saw it. I was 10.

Jive, not to change the subject, but you must be some kind of computer genius. I can't even post pictures! Cool cartoons.

  5. I think this just replaced my grandsons favorite video. The one of the Beep Beep song. The song about a Cadillac and little Nash rambler. ;) He's a little Hot Rodder and really likes this stuff ! Thanks RYAN

Thanks for sharing those @Jive-Bomber. I've seen all of those many times over the years, but 'All the Cats Join In' is new to me. Love it! Can't wait to show it to my wife and daughter!

Well my 13 month old granddaughter/princess likes to watch Mickey's Roadsters, at least I think that's the name. Some pretty cool cars.

Cartoons have been used successfully for many years to sell products and services.

    Thanks for sharing the memories.

Even though it's not really all cartoon, Disney I believe in 1970 released a short for their old Sunday night show called Dad, can I borrow the car?. There is some great footage of cars, drags, and some famous show cars. It is narrated by Kurt Russell and tells the story of a guy growing up through his life with cars, motorcycles, and assorted other vehicles. Check it out!

  12. All The Cats Join In was new to me, and what a cool one! Real fun to watch.
One Cab's Family is one of my favourites.

Also, even as a kid I thought Donald had anger management issues...

  13. All the good ones weren't Disney, they were Merry Melodies (Warner Bros). The big Disney one was Susie. Goofy had one also:

  14. Other notable Warner Bros ones are the cars of tomorrow (and check out the other "other tomorrow" cartoons):

When it comes to cartoons, especially Warner Brothers I have a problem :D.

While not a cartoon in the strictest form, this one is pretty cool.

  18. That T in the Hot Rod Granny episode of Gumby appears to be the 1/8 scale Lindberg kit.

When i think of cars in cartoons i allways think of tex avery,
When i think of tex avery i think of a sort of late 40's or early 50s lowrider with the wolf whos eyes pop out lo0king at a girl,
    When i see a lowrider i think of that...lol

Thank you for posting the cab cartoon, Ryan. We're about the same age, I believe, and this is also one of my earliest "car memories". I often wonder if my love of "sleepers" stems from the end of the cartoon!

  23. That would be "Red Hot Riding Hood", another good one is "Swing Shift Cinderella".
