Need to replace the original rear end on my 47 pickup. Anyone know what rear end will fit with the least amount of modification? Or, what rear end I can make fit with mods? Best I gather so far is a 9" '67/'72 Ford pickup rear end as it can be shortened (narrowed). Going to run a 302ci engine.

1957-72 pickup should fit well with no modification.

Your stock 47 rearend is the desirable open drive banjo. You can recoup some money selling that.
