I remember the Rod & Custom article about Joe Mac's green chopped sport coupe about 1970 - ish. Have loved the idea ever since. A chop that maybe even I could do! (not likely). Anyways, love the idea. That coupe turned up on Ebay with a flathead a week or two ago. But I was $40000 short.
Andy , Bolt pattern on the Plymouth wheels are 5 x 4 1/2 so they bolt up nicely to my early Ford 9 inch.
I like the headlights up high, my cars been on the road about a year now and that was one of the first ideas I had for my car to set it apart. You'll be surprised how many people hate it and feel the need to express to you that they hate it haha. The only other car I see running around like that is another guy here in Texas with a really tough 32 3 window. But I've noticed here on the hamb I've seen about 3 or 4 cars recently running them high, it's catching on I guess, in old pictures you see it often. Nice build!
I was told by very mature fellow that they ran the head lights at stock hight as the coppers didn't notice them as often... makes sense.
Thanks man, I actually took a few inches out of the headlight bat to fit the 28-29 braces. So it also dropped the lights down as well. Doesn’t sit very hig anymore. Looks great!
You must be talking about Roger and his 3w. We kinda stole that idea from him. I really need like the look other than frame mounted lights.

Been out of the country the past year, finally able to get back on the Warbaby and finish this thing up!! Slowly but surely!
Pulled the body back off to continue work back on the frame. Fitting the engine and transmission to fit the x-member and rear end.
