Got a letter in the mail announcing that Flathead Jack is retiring and his business is for sale. I know he's been a little abrasive to some but he did offer quality parts for the Flathead. If no one buys the business another supplier of parts for the vintage engine disappears.
I did some business with Jack a while back and it was a pleasure. Everything was top quality and on time delivery. Had a great time just shooting the **** with him. Hate to see him close it up. q
I too bought from Jack. He always treated me with dignity and respect and the products I received from him were excellent quality. He was always very helpful and more than willing to answer any questions I had. I hope someone buys the business and continues offering the many flathead parts available from his catalog.
He ust have mellowed with age. When I first got in to flatheads 30 some years ago, I called him and he wouldn't give me the time of day. First impressions last forever.
Does anyone know where this stands? I was on his website about 2 months ago, and today there's nothing. 3blap.
