Looking at a 55 2 door sedan that looks to have some shady body work done, new outer rocker panels were installed but has no inners. I know the body mount supports are available but do not know if complete inners are made,I had to do some repairs on my sunliner to the inners but there are none on the drivers side of the 55 I am looking at and will be going back tomorrow with a flash light to see just all what has been done to this 55.

I do not have any equipment to bend metal.

  5. Try a local sheet metal shop.

I gave this car a good looking over and it was a typical Ohio rust bucket that had some quick repairs, looks nice from 20 feet and will need new rockers and quarters to make it right along with the inners and all the supports and a a few body mounts. The guy paid 8500 for it about 10 years ago but the most I would go is 1800 to 2000 and really do not want to get involved with the work it will need,I think I would rather go 4500 for a nice roller that needs drivetrain and interior then buy this one.

  8. Those old Fords are rust buckets..I almost think they were ahead of their time with planned obsolecence
