Hot Rods Please Post-W engine 348 409 powered powered hot rods,drag cars ,and racecars

I just found this photo, I have no history.

 

Neat, a modern "Odd Couple".

 

WOW! Quite the unusual combination. Many years ago, at the "first" location of the world famous Kompact Kar Korner (KKK) in Lynnwood, Wa., they had a 425 HP 409 in a front engine dragster for sale. A few years later, I saw the dragster at Bremerton Raceway, but it never made a p*** that I know of. Then, it dropped out of sight. It was nothing as unusual as this dual engine, one injected, one blown, dragster. This last year, the KKK was sold from it's second location, and became a used truck sales location, to a company that uses Jay Bunner (retired baseball guy) as it's pitchman on TV commercials. I wonder what the story is with this dual 409 dragster?

I have a 55 Desoto Fireflite, 4 bbl, trans, all accs, and a Hot Heads adapter for a GM trans. I would like to trade for a 348-409.

 

My HenryDeuce with 64 409cid + muncie-21+ QC.

 

Caught this one at New York National Speedway 1966 or 67. Struck me as the perfect drag car. Wish I had a chance to find out more about it.
