I was hoping you guys would help me out. There’s a 1941 Chevy (not a PU) dash I’m planning on picking up but I was wondering if it’ll work on a 42 46 fleetline? I looks the same to me, I know the dash is different in a 47-48 fleetline, any help would be appreciated.

according to the parts book, it's the same....I'm ***uming you're talking about the metal dashboard panel, not the gauge cluster?

Thank you! Yes the hold metal dashboard the holes seem to be the same. I know on 47-48 they had extra holes for the dash molding. Not sure why the manual states 41-48?

The trim varies from every year on the Fleetmasters, but the basic dashboard with nothing in it is '41-'48. Most '41 trim is unique as is '42 & '46. If anything varies between '47 & '48, someone fill us in ... this info only applies to the Special Deluxe/Fleetmaster top of the line cars.

The 47-48 only difference I can see is the additional holes for the trim that was added for 47-48.
