88.4% who responded as of now are 50+ years old..doesn't come as much of a shock really. No small wonder why there are the multiple posts about "where is our hobby going"?, "Is the market slow now for Hot Rods"?, etc.
"88.4% who responded as of now are 50+ years old..doesn't come as much of a shock really. No small wonder why there are the multiple posts about "where is our hobby going"?, "Is the market slow now for Hot Rods"?, etc." Yes, everyone keeps forgetting the question, and asking the same thing again.
This site is way to old. I’m leaving now.... Ok. I’m back... (it’s where all that experience comes from ) BTW - in the 30-40 group
8 more months in the 20-30 for me. Still a young gun as far as this hobby goes, but feeling less and less young as the days go by. Here's to our next 30 years!
Turning 70 in August, but my head doesn't believe it. I still think I'm tough and attractive to 25 year olds- not sure if it's sad or funny as hell.
I always wondered what that song was.... Chances are, I know the words to it.... Thank you Mr. Bob Seger.... For all the memories....
I just had a birthday so I'm revisiting the poll to see if I have to change anything. Nope! I'm still old.
I think I'm turning 53 in a couple of months...... but then again, maybe I'm 51, and turning 52 this year. Fuck. Am I still allowed to say that?..... I gotter stop drinkin outer aluminium cans!
78 pushing 79 in October. I told myself that I was done and then lied to myself and started another project

a genuine "Thank You" for those words... I VERY often feel that my 2 other early 30s convertibles projects are just a fantasy pipe dream at 66, which is a damn shame. It's not "old age", it is that I keep getting kicked by Lyme Disease ,
what's the quote? ........."your only as young as the girls you feel"..........or something like that.
Being the oldist in our car club at 76, with the oldist hotrod{I built in 1959 n still drive} is not what I expected too be,that just happens. But being asked about stuff from times passed is nearly always good an fun. Likely I still tell too many old stories!!
I have to write a note about my friend Gary Daum in Red Bluff California who is 10 years older than me (he's now 76). His 28 Model A Roadster is having its 90th anniversary this year. This is also Gary's 60th year with his Model A. It just doesn't get much better than that. He also has a 40 Ford Coupe and a Heritage Soft tail Harley and uses every one of them. - EM
