    So not long after the flathead run i broke an oil line and spun a bearing in my new motor. I did get my wheels powder coated. Today i picked up another 8ba to swap in the car and get me back on the road. I got it for a god deal and it looks super nice inside and has adjustable lifters.

    Yeah man it bummed me out pretty bad. It actually happened months ago and I have not touched it since. so the new motor will t least make me get off my ***.

    so I sold the shoebox day before yesterday. It is going to a great home and I bought a car I did not think I would ever own. 1941 mercury convertible!

    yes I have recast merc acc wheel for sale.$3500 with out core..i also have a couple cores. BTW very nice choice tor the 51 ford cpe..

    plans are a color change asap and drive it and enjoy it for a while.

    I sold the car a year ago. about a month ago I traded and got it back.

    time for another update. the seats are pretty much done I just need to hog ring them on.

    the floors are just about done. go easy on me this is the first set of floors I have ever made and installed.

    Where did you get the seat covers? Im in dire need of nonstock upholstery i got my 50 last week and im trying to source parts I know of mac and shoebox central but man i cant find any upholstery for it.

  24. I just sold a pair of 51 Meteor grilles like the one in your shoebox. They are like chickenlips, hard to find. The guy gave me a deposit and disappeared...might have to post them again!
