New member, long time lurked. I recently picked up a 41 ford p/u for my retirement project. It came with what the owner claimed was a new, vs rebuilt fathead v8, and 3 speed trans. The crate has ford and Dearborn classic stickers on it. I assume it is a remanned eng, came with off heads, Renton headers, and all kinds of new components like clutch, flywheel, ign parts, oil and water pumps, etc. In trying to put a value on these parts since I won't be using them, any idea?

    Hey Mark,
Newbies get their balls busted, don't take it to heart. and don't take all comments at face value. I think humor was mixed in there!
That being said, Welcome from Mass.!

20180412_173922.jpg Thanks, yea even sawbuck said welcome. In a hot rodder more so than a restorer and this is my first build of something this old so I got alot to learn. Very complete truck, in the end, I want something lowered, I can drive on the hi-way with a trailer. I want to keep the straight axle, probably a Dana 60 in the rear, and a big block under the hood. I don't know how this will go with you guys, but I'm sure you will let me know.
