Technical Trans swap

Hi y’all. The T86 in my Stude Hawk is acting up again, 1st gear has bit the dust. Trying to find another has proved to be harder than I thought. Looks like we’re going to do a 700r4 swap. I know I’ll need an adapter for the Stude mill, a tv cable, shifter, etc. wondering if anybody has a good list for what is needed to do the job properly so I can start ordering parts..any response appreciated.

Have you tried that wrecking yard on 35 just north of Denton? They have a lot of OLD stuff
