Folks Of Interest ANYONE NEAR BONDURANT, IOWA

Bondurant, Iowa, anyone near here to be able to do a check on a vehicle offer for sale by another H.A.M.B. member. I do have pictures of the vehicle, 1949 Ford station wagon, but before making the trip out just want to make sure how the vehicle looks to someone else. The seller has all the "red flags" just joint the H.A.M.B. network and selling a car first time out, and the low price seems to raise several questions on my part. The seller is willing to let some one take a look and no money will change hands until I see the vehicle on location. The problem is the vehicle is 20 hours from my location.

Are you talking about the '49 woody? If so, that was/has been on Craigslist for well over a year. He had a bunch of cars he was selling at one point, looks like this one might be the last he's trying to sell.

49 wagon with different year front clip? If so sounds like the one I glanced at in Des Moines at the swap meet. Seemed like a nice kid when I talked to him, no help I know but at least it's a bump. I'm 2 hours away.
