I have them on the '31 and '32 and are great for plumbing the fronts. No problems at all.

thanks for the replies .I know there is an updated version with a nylon bush running through it 3/8 bushing with a 1/8 hole through the centre.

  6. this guy makes them in house in Lake Havasu City, Az. he will make them in any configuration you want or need. I have used his through frame fittings and never had a problem with air bubbles or leaks. He does all the stainless fuel lines for the blower carbs that you see on BDS, The Blower Shop and Good Vibrations web sites

Not sure where I read it, but the ones with the larger diameter inside with a smaller outlet hole might cause an issue with bleeding due to the small air space left where it goes from 3/8" to 1/8".

I think this will help.. my buds have found the best thru-frame fittings come from Art Morrison. They don't have a large internal p***age that can trap air, just a hole the same size as your lines. Here is the link. I also think they can be ordered in a variety of lengths, but I can't confirm that from their web page. Give them a call. Gary

I have welded 100's of steel thru the frame brake line tubes on the ch***is I've built. They are drilled and tapped for 1/8th inch pipe thread. I've not had any negative customer feedback using this method. We use number 3 AN to 1/8 inch pipe fittings in the bungs, 3/16 th stainless tube for the hard lines with number 3 braided lines at the 4 corners.

I have decided to not use the cut down thru frame fittings .when they are horizontal its hard to bleed them.not impressed at all.taking a different approach.
