Technical 27 roadster on 41-48 chassis

    Title says it all. I know it's been done, i remember seeing pics somewhere along the way.

    I Have a bead in a good running 41, with a trash body. Been thinking about a flathead powered 27 roadster for a while. I know the 41 could be a donor to a A or other chassis but seems like a ton of extra work if i can run the 41 chassis

    Anybody got pics or build details.

    Gut everything off the 41 chassis and put them on a set of 650.00 32 rails is the easiest best way to make that happen

    That is an option under consideration. Just doing my advanced research. The 41 has the benefit of a clear title which is a pain to get here in nc. Title goes with the chassis regardless of what's on it.

    A 41 chassis is way too big and heavy for a T roadster body, you can do it but won't look right. A Model A or 32 chassis is a lot better choice. Don't know what title requirements your state has but would find out before I started.

    Falconsprint check out the babushka t build. Ed lloyd used a modified 47 mercury frame. Came out real nice.
