The girl probably just doesn't get it...

And in that case you OWE it to every other hot rodder at the show to make her stupid *** feel about a CENTEMETER tall for doing something so stupid...

    Something like:
"What the hell?!! Are you ****ing STUPID? Didn't anybody TEACH you ANYTHING?!!! At***ude and ****ed-up hair are NO subs***ute for CL***!!"

You're goal is to either make her cry right then...
Or later when she's all alone and looks at herself in the mirror right before she takes the CLOWN MAKUP off.

that is not my style but I understand what you are saying...actually I blame the guys in the group...they should know better...Any car guy knows that messin' with another guys ride is bad news...

funny thing about all this is that I had both my kids with me and the 3 year old knows better than to touch cars without asking ( the one year old just kinda drules right now so we don't let him near other peoples cars).

  3. that is so true, remember that tough guys.

I understand you Shifty. I have a 2yr old girl that I like to take everywhere I go. Turns out that the good dad thing is cooler than the drunk'n fool thing.

On the one hand... you want to knuckle up and teach these types of people a lesson. On the other hand... it's not like you could have walked your kid over to a day care center while you handled your business. Plus, no one but you and the people that scratched your car would know what the hell the drama was about. You and them would have just end up looking like ***holes that screwed up another event.

BTW: Why does every girl think they are a pin up girl?? It's not like every chick in the "50's bro" was leaning over cars trying to look ***y.

I can vouch for Shifty's daughter too. He tried to get a picture of her PRETENDING to kick a doll on some trailer queen's car. She wouldn't have it. I guess if that girl that sat on Shifty's car was raised with the same respect for cars that his 3 year old has, maybe we wouldn't be having this thread.

a simple, "Please remove yourself from my ride" would have sufficed... have the family go somewhere else while you do this. if it comes to throwing down, do it.

for us tough guys, its easier to physically throw someone into the pavement.

all ******** aside... i can sit and type tough **** all day, there is no right or wrong here. the way i run things isnt necessarily correct for everyone else... and yes, its gotten me into trouble... but i accept it with open arms.

    My reply was sarcasm...

I guess what I'm wondering is what the point of the post is...

    You're car got scratched.
You didn't do much about it at the time.
You don't really seem that upset about it now.
The guys appologized and offered to make it up to you.
The girl didn't say **** but you're still slightly annoyed by the guys.

To me, it sounds like you wanted the guys to protect your car for you, and you're upset that they didn't. But not enough to protect it yourself.

My 5yo knows better too. But then again some people just don't care enough to educate their kids.

That's where the owner of the car comes in.

Either it's important enough for you to put an end to at the time, or it's not.

If not then don't worry about it. Just go and have fun and don't worry about it later.

Sorry your car got scratched. Hope it buffs out for you.
Other than that I'm at a bit of a loss. ;)

I can't help myself I have to reply. Where has common sense gone? Why does everyone think the world revolves around them? I don't care if you know about cars or not, you don't touch other people's things. THAT"S KINDERGARDEN DAY ONE STUFF. I won't even sit down on somebody's couch if I don't know them, until they invite me, and I know those are made to sit on. But today a lot of people think you won't care because they are so important. These are the same people that speed to the front of merging traffic at construction zones and then turn their blinker on and want in right up by the big flashing arrow.

I am a car nut just like the rest of you... ****... I think that if you believe that someone sitting on your fender is worth a beating, then I think you need to put down the coffee and go for a walk...... I am not saying that I would not be upset if I came back to my car and found someone sitting in/on it... But it is really not worth getting in a fight over.... You can never tell what you might be getting into.... Just think of all the dents and scratches that the tow company will put onit while you are sitting in jail on ***ault charges....(I dont think that the cops will accept scratched paint as a valid excuse) Not to mention the fact that just because your car got scratched, doesn't mean that you will win the fight....(the guy in the white hat only wins in the movies) I know my carry permit is good in something like 12 states, and if you try to start a boot party on me, you will get a pretty sizeable hole in yer' ***.... More than likely, it would never have to (or should not ) come to a fight..... Even if the guy is an ***, you would be surprised at how many of your fellow rodders would come a' runnin saying "he scratched your WHAT?" Sitting in front of your keyboard and talking trash about the chick on the car like calling her a "****" "*****", etc is just a little childish.....

  12. Like I said guys it is not a big deal anymore....I am mostly over it....The guy from Dead Sled asked that I post on the HAMB that he was sorry and willing to make ammends...

As far as being a tough guy that ain't me....I am not trying to be anything but a good husband, good father and a good friend....thats it...sometimes I make it sometimes I don't...I will let those that know me decide....

I don't think walking up and pushing some guys teeth down their throat is what I was posting...I was just giving a shout out to others to be mindful of this situation....I certainly do not need anyone else to do my fighting for me.

I happen to be on a computer for my construction job so being a wanna-be tough guy computer gangster isn't exactly my deal either....

if standing up for your property (ie. the item which you spent thousands of dollars on as well as provided hours of enjoyment) is childish or wrong, why the **** do you carry a gun? and, you are basically saying if someone told you to step off their ride because your *** is invading their property, you would shoot them in the ***? wtf??
i dont remember anyone talking about KILLING or shooting anyone over a car...
    that is rediculous.

FYI - cops wont tow your car for ***ault.

I think a lot depends on the car.

One time I came out of a bar and saw a hot girl sitting on the fender of my 68 Impala. It had the original paint, and it was beyond faded, and quite frankly it didn't bother me all that much (because I ended up sleeping with her).

However, I had about 6 grand into the paint on my 65 Riv before it was wrecked, and *** or no ***, I would have freaked out if I caught anyone sitting on it.

I agree 100% that sitting or leaning on someones car is ********. I kinda lost a friendship because I went off on a drunk friend at viva for setting his beer on the roof of a friends car and then laying all over it. When she asked him what he was doing on her car he insulted her car saying **** its just primer. And tried to drag me to help defend him. He knows how to treat peoples **** and he let me down that day, and I let him know it.
As far as calling out a car club/individual on the net I don't agree with that at all. This club/guy has no way to defend himself and obviously isnt on the HAMB so now the Dead Sleds look like a bunch of ****s to people in HAMB land.
I know most of the guys in the club and in my opinion they are a great fun bunch of guys that like to have a good time and enjoy cars. I will most likely be hangin with them saturday night.

  16. Well Gamblin you can tell Don and Rob that I posted that they tried to make right with me ( which they have as far I am concerned). I have seen them at shows and thought they might be on the HAMB. Sure I blasted some of the cars that were parked with them ( they were bad *** RAT RODZ) and I post a not cool sitting on cars that aint' yours post....if that was wrong I don't see it....I didn't threaten these guys or say how I was going to fight em or any of the rest of that ****...as a matter of fact I think I made it a point not to say that was what I wanted to do...

As Rob said no harm no foul....

Thats not cool. Who doesn't know not to touch other people's property. Its good they contacted you and tried to make amends.
Do they know the chick? If so she should contact you and appologize. Thats how I feel.

  18. People need to learn how too respect other peoples property! Most of the people showing up at car shows now don’t know there left from there right when it comes to cars and im getting tired of it! You cant leave your car alone with out wondering if something is going to happen to it or have some idiot all over it! Well im sorry your car got scratched!

When I go to shows I not only look after my car I also look after other people's car and if i see some one messing with the cars whether it is mine or not I will tell them. Sometimes we have to look after are own ............. but if I see a young child looking a my car and they are with there parents I tell the kid if he/she wants to get in and the look on there face is priceless. I get a big thank you from the kids and there parents............ at most show there d.j. announces to the crowd not to touch the cars and some say do not feed the seagulls

So how does everyone feel about those "look but don't touch" sticker?

I always thought they were a part of the goldchainer starter kit. Maybe not?Sounds like we all need one here?

  21. I don't need one or want one....I do expect that if you are going to check out my car, sit on it, touch it, rub it, give it a blow job....whatever that you ask and don't damage it....I think that is the point to this whole thing....I don't car so much that she was on it but scratching it is not cool....you wanna lean on my hood or truck cool with me....put your hands on it not a problem....rub your naked **** NO Problem...scratch it or damage it....PROBLEM!

I guess at least this has reinforced what most sane people know and do: don't touch a car without the owner's permission...

Ah, i'd give these Dead Sleds the benefit of the doubt-- as sometimes stupid chicks dont think before they decide to plant their ***es on a car. In most cases, they will do so without thinking either way about it. It can be as simple as young people can be thoughless at times. Thoughless is more harmless that calculating to disrespect you and damage your hood.

Should have just went over, tell the girlie that her pants can scratch and ask her to please get off, and then introduce yourself to the mohawk bunch. 99.9% of the time, people will respect you-- even if they have mohawks and rat rods...

Better to directly tell them you have a problem with 'em than to not say a thing and then slam 'em behind their backs on the HAMB.... just my opinion though.

And, no, I don't know these guys.... and I havent had a mohawk in over 15 years.

    Just my .02

Wow, you all might wanna make sure you get your facts straight before you start in with the "you oughta slap the **** outta the *****" kind of comments. I heard that this whole ridiculous flap was about me, so I'd like to respond personally to the owner of the car. The rest of you narrowminded *****s don't deserve a response.
I love cars, have enormous respect for those whose build them, and certainly would NEVER just sit my *** down on one without someone's permission. I never have. I've had enough idiots sit their ***es down on cars of mine and I agree that it's just disrespectful. First off, I have modeled on cars professionally, I'm not some drunk girl floppin myself on any old car whenever I feel like it. I know what it might take to scratch a car and what wouldn't, and I'm concious of how easy it is to scratch a car everytime I get near one.
As I was p***ing your car a photographer asked if he could take my pic with your car and I said, hey, I don't know who's car this is. He gave me the impression that it was his so I said ok. Before you ***ume it was me who scratched your car, you might want to know also that my jeans had no pockets, no rivets, or ANY piece of metal on them. I wasn't wearing a belt, a ring, or in fact ANY piece of metal, (except the buckles on my shoes) so your accusation is just wrong. When the photographer was done I was checkin' out your car and made some comments to the photographer on it, which is when he fessed up that it wasn't his. I was pissed cause I do respect people's cars and wouldn't want someone do do that to mine. I would never have allowed him to take my pic on the car if I'd known it wasn't his. On my way headed back the same way later I saw other girls being posed by the same guy on the same car. And yes, they had on jeans. I did have pictures taken on other cars that day and I did ask everyone's permission before I did, or they asked me. I did not allow that photographer to take any more pics of me. If you wanna get mad at someone, I'd suggest the photographer, he's the one sittin chicks on yer car and tellin them it's his!
Also, I just want to say, please don't bad mouth the Deadsleads, I'm not in anyway affliated with them, they had nothing to do with it, and are an all around stand up bunch of guys who treat people and their cars with respect. I hope you think twice before you throw around accusations about people without all the information. I'm real sorry your car got scratched, it's a damn beautiful machine and you have every right to be pissed. But I didn't do it and I'd sure appriciate it if you'd stop saying I did cause that's just wrong.
