When my dad called him there was not real discount Maybe dad did not ask the right questions. There is also a guy in Montana he has been on the auction side but he was the cheapest in the country on the glass for my dad 51 tin woodie. Glass is not here yet. I will report back when we get it.
Check with you local auto glass people, too. I had a rock smack mine on my 52 a while back, and my insurace covered it. The place Nationwide "preferred" got it in within a couple days.
See if you can find an Oldsmobile windshield from the same years and it is one piece. May be kinda hard to find, but the results are worth it.

Hey Bob. My 51 chevy was previously a split windshield but the guy that had it before me made it a one piece. I would love to make it a split again and put the visor back on but don't have the center bar... Do you have these or any tips where I could find a center bar?
Did you ever find one? im about to do the one piece swap on mine and take that center bar out and ship it to you..
