Ok I have been lagging on keeping you guy's updated. Sorry it's been a few late nights plus camera problems that has put me behind on my posts. But here is ware we are at. The front end is done except for brake lines and air lines. The chop is close to done it should be finished up by this weekend. I started cutting out the rear floor and today I be starting on the rear end. C notch,4 bar, and bag mounts. we will see how far I get to day. Thats it for now thanks, Scott

So heres some pictures. I C noched the rear of the frame today and started fitting up the new rearend. The pictres of the rear tire shows the tire all the way up in the rear fender. But the car is still on the lift so it will sit lower. Sorry i'm not much on the play by play to night. To night is the first week night I got home before 8:30. So I'm going to get caught up on some sleep. Thanks Scott

Yes I will have some new pictures tonight. I forgot my Camera at the shop. We put the engine and trans in yesterday. We also had the car on the ground for the first time. The frame is about a inch off the ground. We set the front sheet metal on it just to see how it looked. Man this is going to be one bad ass Car.I have to go to work now so tonight I should have some pictures. Scott

Here we go, today I came to the conclution that the car was not low enough so we started on the super notch and moved the upper four bar mounts up higher in the front. The front window frame is cut down and will go out to get glass on monday. The top is all most finished and will be on garnish moldings by monday. The front brake lines are done but we still have to run the rear brake lines .The outher stuff not done would include ,trans lines, trans tunnel, wire the whole car, mount fuel tank and fuel lines. Also trunk floor, all the air ride outher than the front bags . After all that we need to mount the new column, install the dash, mount the seat, front sheet metal, and the crown jewel the E&J head lights. We were hoping to have this finnished up next week end. But I will be happy with by the day before Paso. Here are the pictures from the last two days. Scott

Yes the car is from Graham Texas. It was a B/Gas car in the sixties. My brother in laws dad(Cy) and his friend pick it up in like 69 or 70. They parted out the car. It had a small block with a cross ram, 4 speed, and a quick change. The body sat in the corner of Cy's shop on a pallet untill about 95 when I got it. It took a few years to put it back together. It been back on the road for almost ten years now. This week I'm finaly putting a quick change back in it. I hope to drive it to Paso for it's fifth time. This year. Thanks,Scott

If we have time we were planing to cut them down so they don't stick up so high. I rased the engine and trans about 3 inchs for ground clearance. We are planning to drive the car to Paso from Northern Californa. We don't want the driver passing out from the exaust comming in the window.

  28. Uhhh...

I know my opinions are entirely worthless and all that... but I am going to say it anyway.

Great car... great progress... love the chop...

    LOSE THE FUGLY HEADERS.

It's going to take away from the lines and the coolness of the rest of the car.

If you see me, kindly do not kick my ass.

All right it's been a few day since I last posted. But the car is going very well. let's see whats left, wire the whole car ,plumb air system, mount front sheet metal, mount head lights, finish floorweld pin holes on roof, body work on roof, mount fuel tank and run fuel lines. Alot of work for less than a week but most the fab work is done so the rest should be easyer. But we will see. Thanks Scott

It looks really sick...chop turned out great and with as far as you've come in such short time, my bet says that car will be at Paso.
