Has anybody done this? Are the roofs the same? I know the B-pillar and quarter would.have to be re-done , hence the shorter doors. Thanks. Al
Check the main page, I saw several threads a few years ago about tri-five Chevys, I imagine it would be the same for a Ford.
Please don't do this to your car. I would much rather see a more door than something like that monstrosity. Some things like that blue/white example are just not supposed to be discussed, planned, thought out, much less enacted. When I see the photo of that car, I have to ask myself, "why?" Please tell me it is a photoshop job!!!
I have seen a bunch of various cars with that done, mostly Chevies. I must admit, of all the ones I've seen, that one is waaaaay better than the rest. Workmanship looks top notch. I kinda agree with BruceMc.......sectioned and pancaked roof or convertible
Not too far away and you can sell your four door. https://detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/cto/d/1956-ford-fairlane/6591857906.html
I'm with Dan and Jeff. Sell the 4 door and find a nice solid 2 door for a project. You'd be way ahead on time and amount of work it'd take to pull this off.
just because you probably can does not mean you should.that one shows what looks to be some very nice chrome wasted on that ???? to say nothing about those reflectors on the fenders.some things should be viewed in private not inflicted on the public.
Too rich for my blood! I may just ledo it as is and drive it. Maybe get lucky and find a 2-door. Hell, im a old man anyway. So a 4-door would probably fit in.lol!
