I am restoring a 1934 Ford 5-Window I bought in 1965, ch***is is done except for rear shock arms. I've been told 33's will work on the 34; 33's are 40-18052-A and 34's are 40-18052-B. The image below is from a Houdaille Service Bulletin for 28-39 Fords.
They sure look different to me. Weren't 33 shocks inboard and 34's outboard of the frame? That might explain the difference in offset of the arms. I would think the arm could probably be bend to ***ume the position of the alternate style.
