Folks Of Interest Hoodlifters Club Dayton Ohio

Anyone hear or remember these guys in the Dayton Ohio area around the early fifties? My Dad reproduced their plaques in the early 80's for a few of them. Ancient history I'm sure......

 

Lynn Wineland, one of the R&C staff in the first few years was a member. He had several outstanding coupes & roadsters.

 

I am friends with one of the members.. He used to drag race a 406 4sp Ford mostly in Dayton, Ohio and fools with flathead Fords now.. He has the same plaque displayed on one of his cars.. He is in his mid 70's...

 

kool! what is his name? I may remember it. Dayton was a great car town. I left there in the late 80's. there were cars everywhere. hell, everyone had one. ha

 

Charlie Prinz...

 

I don't remember the name. about the same age bracket as dad though. i'm sure we crossed paths.

 

He was a Dayton cop before a bad motorcycle accident on the job retired him...

 

Hey I think thats my plaque. Actually he gave that to me. Im a top secret member now.
