NSRA got back to me today. Just to park inside the gates with my friends I have to be a member, pay $30 a year, and $45 the day of the event ($75). I said 'I'll p***'. My luck they'd park me next to an '88 Ford ******.

Sure wish you guys would have better weather for the event. This rain **** is gettin' old. Work & life will keep me away, sure wanted to goof off tomorrow (Fri) and at least check out the cars who showed up. Also the swap meet, because, uh I need more ****. Be careful, you guys.

We were supposed to leave Friday, 6 AM but everybody has decided that Mother Nature is going to win this one. Forecast looks grim, no fun in the rain.

Went today, no rain-at least by 3 and it was HOT!. I was nervous because we saw NO rods on US 30 heading in. Got my usual great parking place 1/2 block from entrance. $15 to get in for old folks. I have to say the numbers were down, even from last year. The vendor halls are pitiful-wide aisles, pillows for sale??, big space. The Midway has about 8 folks on it outside. There were a few silly entries, a fair number of muscle cars and Mustangs (that's OK-I like those, too) and a good number of street rods. The swap meet was the pits-maybe a dozen or so folks?
What there was was a zillion SCOOTERS! I bet 10% or more of the attendees were riding.

They should call it the National Scooting Riding ***ociation.

Still, I probably will go back next year.

Doesn't sound too promising, but I'll still probably ride up there tomorrow.

Sounds like a blast but I decided to do TROG next weekend instead. Ya know, sun, surf, cold beer, neon lights, hot rods.....can't wait!

I did Friday so I could do Carlisle on Saturday since I had not done that show on Saturday before. I went to see the early pony cars but the show is geared toward late model stuff. Lesson learned. But I did pick this up while browsing the flea market. 1528031414783.jpg

I did pick up a few things at the York flea market. I saw them but walked around for an hour or so and came back and as I was paying other people came up and wanted both items. My timing was great. 20180603_093527.jpg

The tank is interesting. Looks like it could have been a muffler can without the holes and the unique flip cap added. The lights are American Flatlight.
