.................That's funny. I wasn't thinking about it when I took the pictures, but it is true. For years I was primarily a Blue person, GM Marina Blue always one of my favorite colors, but also lighter shades as well. In recent years, I've come to appreciate the various Greens a whole bunch, especially the "vintage" Greens from the '30's and '40's, but also those creamy Greens from the 50's and 60's. I would have to say that now I tend to gravitate toward Greens over Blues on cars. Seafoam Green in its' various tints is one of my favorites.
I firmly believe that every car has colors that work extremely well and other colors that really fall short and diminish the car....Just my ramblins'.
Go home you ***holes. The Fairlane just achieved driver status, and the 38 Ford truck is moving inside the garage to build next--neither are for sale, so quit knocking. Sincerely, HAMBer who lives in York.
I had preregistered, so you can blame the weather on me. Every time I preregister for a event, the weather ****s. I wimped out and drove up for the day in a late model. Weather turned out to be good, other than some off & on rain on the PA TP driving home. You can see plenty of empty spaces in the pictures, but we had a good time. Saw registration numbers up to around 2,200, but who knows how many other opt outs (like me) added to those numbers. My biggest disappointment was seeing Al Consoli driving out of the Fairgrounds in his updated Coupe before I could check it out.
I was there. All the weather forecasts got it totally wrong, and I'm sure that scared away about a thousand cars. There were plenty of nice cars, and I barely noticed any later models. The show is still predominately pre-48 and a good number of nice 50's models. Muscle cars are few by comparison and in my opinion, this show is well worth attending. Thanks for the photos guys !
I thought I saw a for sale sign on this 29 coupe in the other pictures. Does any one know who owns this. Thanks. And thank you for posting all these great pictures guys.
Saw numbers up to 2700. More "new cars" ('49 and up) than I ever saw before, percentage wise. I know it can get political, but NSRA shot themselves in the foot for the newer cars. Still had a good time. Could have done without the evening rains!!!!
I'd rather see a few fresh "newer" cars than another row of fat fendered pastel and tweed cars that were built in 1989 and never updated. I like looking at them all, but saw way more of those than anything tbh..
