I asked this question a couple years ago but have forgotten the answer and can't find the post again. I have a really nice complete '36 Ford Coupe seat I saved for a roadster project, what are the diff. over a stock roadster seat as far as looks and fitment? Thanks!

I have a 38 ford sedan seat in my cabriolet, so I can't imagine that it will be that much different

I don't think an original Roadster seat was adjustable, among other differences...................

I'm sure it may not, but it will fit as per your question

  8. They are totally different seats. Roadsters do not have the wooded curved sides, metal pan or wooden backer.

I put a 5W coupe seat in my 36 roadster and you will have to narrow the top of the seat back and pull the top of the sides in as well otherwise the top will not be able to fold down. I went with the coupe seat because I like the pass through it offers to get behind the seat. Other nice thing is that it bolts right in to the stock holes in the floor and if your a short person you can move the seat forward if needed.
