Brenda has a small collection of thermometers, she has had all these for many years before they were collectible and were all inexpensive, even the Coke thermometers. Check out the phone number - 4 This one was free from a local radiator shop. This one is brass and it's her favorite,I found it at a swap meet in Maggie Valley in a box of parts marked $1.00 a piece. You used to be able to pick those up at flea markets and such for nearly nothing. Now with shows like like American Pickers, everybody thinks what they have is worth a mint.
1912 Mail Pouch . This was actually nailed to the wall on the porch of my grandparents farmhouse when they bought their farm in 1962 Sent from my SM-G930V using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Nice thermometers guys. I'm a little late to the party & have been trying to collect old signs, thermometers, etc.... My small collection is mostly ratty old road signs with a few petroliana signs(also ratty). I have been on the lookout for some decent thermometers & have found a few newer ones(farenheit & celcius & seven digit phone numbers). The nice old ones are way to expensive(thanks american pickers) & the crusty ones are way over priced(same). I really like this new segment of the Hamb, some of you have some real cool shit.

Some more thermometers...As said above, the Antiquated section makes you realize how much strange stuff you have accumulated over the years...and gives a certain peace of mind that you are not the only one out there with this "problem"...
Two days ago, I was out for 5 hours with the 32. It was like summer that day, after a cold and wet spell. Took lots of pics of the trip and this one shows a vintage thermo-rear view mirror on my car. It is very accurate and shows around 82 degrees that afternoon.
