HEY! One of his mini's used to be mine! A black Clubman Estate with a 1300, 1&3/4 SU, LCB and a straight 2" exhaust. Mayfair discs too.

I used to work for him, years ago. Also pitted for him when his wife ran IMCA Modifieds.

    Is that a Matchless?

You don't see a lot of matchless bobbers (well, at least I don't anyway).

    vesparex,
I know Phil, a guy a know (Jason Alper) used to work for him about 5 years ago. That was well before the move over the hump, great guy he taught Jason most all of his machinist and fabrication skills.

I missed the car show that day. I was chasing a "dunebuggy" at the desert race in pahrump on the same day. Phil Hayes, great guy I met him just before he moved out here to Pahrump. He staightened out my axle housing for my dwarf car.

Nice pics, Good to see the show has gotten bigger.
It was one of my highlights when I lived out that way.

It was in a big park. I'm not from there and I didn't get the name of the park but I think it's the only one they have. Have you ever seen a Jimmy Buffett impersonator? Only in Pahrump! Here's one more pic.
