  1. I assure you, I am not that "impressive". But, I will be happy to sign your magazine.

I smell a new LARS attraction. Dean Lowe's Kissing Booth with proceeds going to the poor souls who own $50K cars but cannot afford to park them on the fairgrounds.

  5. Well, you'll have to be real pretty!! And, if you can smell it, I ain't kissin' it!!!

Well, I drove out to the show from N.C.in my roadster topless with a couple of my friends and also had a co -pilot from down under The deep south Australia with The Great Gray Beards Adventure 7th annual and we had pretty good time ! Yes, the attendance was down as well as we had 5 cars that didn't make it that had last minute problems 2 had engine problems 1 had transmission problems 1 had a accident and another got sick ! So it was kinda bad timing ! As our group, lars trip 2017 189.JPG probably not coming back ! Just my 2 cents and some of the others that where with us felt like something was missing and we really didn't feel like we where welcome there ! As far as us touring other shops and places couldn't ask for better hospitality it was great and made up for it !

Update, Fairplex raised the general parking fee to $12 sometime last year. Sunday, the actual Father's Day, is no longer happening, the schedule is all day Friday and Saturday. And the main peripheral event, The Friday SoCal Speed Shop Open House is now just history. Weather today is mid 90s but Friday high is predicted 85 and Saturday is a chilly 75 high. The shop and vendor tour is Monday-Thursday and restricted to pre-registered by May 1st so that's out at this time.
