Good morning and thanks to all for yours support. Well, now we are waiting the frame, engine is in progress, some parts paint or chrome. For rear bumper i think that the final result will be this with a removable plate to use only for drive: But during works we can also change it. thanks Inviato dal mio iPad utilizzando Tapatalk

Mirko I have started I have installed a chevy cavalier rack and disc brakes on the stock front end a ford explorer rear end and a triangulated 4 link and bags like yours Then for a power plant I am a 5.3 liter ls with 4l60e automatic . I found a set of 49 valve covers . I took 2 old chevy oil bath air cleaners to construct a bat wing style air cleaner that covers up most of that ugly ls engine . I really like your chop and deck lid looks great my old caddy has very good sheet metal I bought it from the second owner he bought it in 1966
Yes they are accepted but must be kept low profile and not the main focus of the thread. It was discussed a few months ago quite extensively among other things.
Round and Round you go...Looking great Mirko...Extensive project is an understatement...Gibbons and Depp would approve of the Metallica used in this build.
Very cool - love them Caddy’s. Working on a ‘49 myself, guess I should start a build thread. Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
