HAMB'er needs help moving car......

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by A32Flathead, May 12, 2006.

  1. I got a notice on my door from our apartment manager saying.......

We have received numerous complaints about your "cl***ic car" rusting away in the parking lot  and it needs to be removed in the next 2 weeks or it will be towed....

Thanks to the VERY generous offer of a fellow HAMB'er, we have somewhere local to store/work on/complete the jobs that need doing to get the old gal on the road again....only thing is...I need a trailer for a couple of hours to move her.

Its a 63 Valiant wagon, it rolls, but don't run....

Can anyone help? We have use of a truck to tow it, just need a trailer....

    South Bay/Campbell/San Jose area.

Please PM me or reply here if you can help....

    Thanks in advance :D

If you already have a truck, U-Haul will rent the 2 wheel dolly trailers for a couple of hours.

Might want to check it out anyway.

    Good Luck.

I rented one to pick up my panel. Hauled it close to 300 miles with no problems. A winch of some sort makes it much easier to load if the car isn't driveable.

Rent the dolly! That's how I moved my 48. It was so easy and worth the $$.
