Technical 4 wheel disc brakes, w/o power.. yes or no.

    Since the front brakes do the majority of the work, a good front disc / rear drum setup is all you really need.

    Some of the late 60s Vettes were 4 wheel disc, no power. I used a MC off one on a OT car I built years ago, worked great.

    They continued well into the 70's, my 71 LT-1 is manual 4 wheel disc and it stops just fine (goes better).

    Didn't a lot of those Swedish cars come with non boosted 4 wheel disc brakes?

    I have a '38 Plymouth, 4 wheel disc none power, I had a problem so I called Willwood Tech. gave them piston size and pedal ratio, change my pedal and master, now she puts me through the windshield, with little effort.
