Do you know where the wooden board track in the picture under construction was located?
Could this be the old wooden board track in Alltona, PA.?

  17. You are correct. The Valley Stream Pacers Hot Rod Club started by George Snizek in 1955 evolved into The Pacers and later into Pacers Auto Inc. with partner Charlie Dodge.

The seats in the early Corvette are interesting. Maybe a styling exercise by GM. The car is a 58-60 model but the seat track release looks to be 61/62. If that is a headrest it may benefit anyone that is under let's say 4' tall.

Yes I did and the bracket that conforms exactly to the fiberglass makes me believe it was a styling exercise by GM.

I believe it to be the wooden track located in Culver City, CA, at the intersection of Lincoln Blvd. and Washington Blvd.

There was also an earlier track like this one, located in Beverly Hills. I can't recall if both of them were made out of lumber, but one of them sure was...
