Saw this 1937 Chrysler Airflow on my front lawn this morning....coming home from a meet in California and headed back up to Washington....

 

Not 1, or 2, BUT 3 Muntz Jets!. The red one was from Washington, and appeared to be original and unrestored inside and out.

saw this last week on our way to Lake Tahoe, it was parked at Donner Pass rest stop @ 7000 ft...nice metal fab!

Went out for dinner with my wife and some friends.
Saw this in the parking lot, unfortunately it has a “Streetrod” script on the grille and (yuck) some sort of IFS.

Hello,

This orange 1965 El Camino instantly brought memories flashing back to me. It was 53 years since I bought our 65 red Chevy El Camino at the local, downtown Long Beach, CA Chevy dealer. It was also 125k+ when I sold it in 1975 to a surfer in Dana Point. The last time I saw it was 1977 cruising down PCH toward Laguna Beach. Where is it today? Is it still red?

This orange 1965 was shopping at a big box home improvement store and had a few changes to the stock configuration. The S&S wheels, the 4 speed stick in front of the seats, a custom steering wheel…all added up to a nice daily driver.

But, on the outside front fender, a 350 emblem resides over the normal 327 or 283 emblem. So, there must be some mods inside of the motor compartment.

The two V8 varieties in 1965 were the 283 and 327. There was no 350 as an option in the El Camino line. But, the attached emblem was nicely done on the stock flags. Could the original motor now be replaced by a 350 C.I.? There was a 350 HP option in the Chevelle line but, that was not available to the El Camino until 1966. By 1969 the El Camino used a 350 CI motor.

The 1965 El Camino was a good handling, comfortable, mid size car/truck…look at the comparison of the El Camino to the newer GMC big truck.

 

I saw this today. Pretty cool!

Some dude scrapped a trailer load of pallet jacks. Six and a half cents per pound is what steel paid today.
