Pretty interesting looking injection. Looks like EFI throttle bodies much modified to become stack injection on the Chrysler.

If I remember correctly (2006) he took the EFI throttles from one of the smallest Mazdas,so he had to find 8 of them!

Managed to find a smallblock Chevy Latham axial flow supercharger setup to adapt to my '54 Buick 322 nailhead.

anyone know anything about this setup? From what i see it looks like a injected SBC, but i'm not sure about the rest of it....looks like it would be pretty cool.

Note to self, before I plug in engine bay accent lighting, make sure air cleaners are installed correctly.

The Mallicoat Brothers ran a draw through system, there are two AFB’s under that sheet metal shield in front of the engine. The carbs are mounted to a plenum feeding the turbos which in turn are ducted to the Rochester injection plenum/manifold. They only used the Corvette manifold and f.i. plenum to get the air/fuel mix into the engine, the Rochester mechanical injection was not used.
There was a time the NHRA rules required a shield like that over carbs, by the mid ‘60’s when they ran this car it was no longer in the rules but I wonder if they found they needed the shield. Could there have been reversion or back firing when the throttle was backed off?

AE1ED63F-8E35-46CD-A2F9-8C0809D0DD98.jpeg That’s Ray Brock, he was a tech editor at Hot Rod, he’s checking an early pre-production cammer in a ‘64 Galaxie. What makes the engine pre-production are the heads with the low positioned spark plugs. Also, just peaking out from the air cleaner you can see a Holley with the LeMans style fuel bowls.

I think Holley started making those fuel bowls again.... Along with the floats and hardware...
    Hope I'm not wrong....
