You all might have seen this one before, but you asked....This was my garage when I lived in Newport News, VA. The Tire-Flator AND the driveway bell (that DID work, much to my wife's amusement/regret) was from my uncle's Atlantic station in Pittsburgh. The warehouse light was on a timer and a dimmer so that I could turn it up when unloading the truck, etc. but it could also be dimmed to keep that retro look. It's mounted on some extra stainless steel swimming pool railing that Keven at Auto Muffler King had laying around.

I made a wreath out of hard plastic sprinkler pipe to go around the Texaco sign and wrapped it in garland and lights, and I'd change the face & globe lights in the pump to red & green for Christmas.

We moved to Louisiana (yes, on purpose) back in 2015 and PLANNED to build a retro looking gas station from scratch in the back yard but employment woes took their toll on our budget. Still a big patch of green grass where our "gas station / repair shop (and the wife's gardening shed)" is supposed to be! Wish me luck!!!

So much cool stuff on here! I can't wait to start settling down somewhere with a true garage of my own. I'm fortunate enough to have a cool roommate and landlord letting me do my entire engine rebuild for my first 23 t build in the front room of the house. It sucks but it's better than the parking garages and dirt I've had to work in before. (Looks a lot more disorganized than it is) IMG_20181124_205324.jpeg

My garage is always evolving with new "garage art" and car projects, but here's what it looked like one night a couple of years ago. IMG_3561.JPG IMG_3562.JPG IMG_3563.JPG Shop Shenanigans 8-3-16 019.JPG

  19. I always loved this one. It was taken during final assembly of the #eldorodder.

  21. @vetteguy402 , the block has been cracked for years , the mains have been rattling on startup for half that time , now a valve is burned , I'm done babying it :) . But I got 80,000 miles out of it , still standard bore and crank . I guess the crank and head will be salvageable. :)
