Hiding under an overp*** on our way home from GoodGuys DelMar show a few years ago, while my wife scoops out the slush that a semi truck covered us with as it p***ed us. It was a balmy 12 degrees and ironically we won the "Coolest Rod" award at the show!

I know some of you may find this shocking....we get snow and cold in Canada. I realize the one picture isn't hamb friendly, but thought some would like it....a 2 day storm 2 years ago and the picture was on a main use gravel road to my place.

The temps this weekend were/are horrendous. Some temps were 96 on the coast to 110 inland. No, that is not snow on the ground, but a careless contractor that knocked over his white paint cans. But, you would have thought that this photo was taken in the sun, which it was, but it was cold…a cold 67 degrees. (a couple of days before the heat onslaught) That is lightweight jacket/swearshirt weather in So Cal.

The orange, 1965 El Camino was set up nicely. A daily driver and work truck all rolled into one.

I try to keep mine out of the weather, let the wife's catch the white stuff! I was about an hour late taking this pic, an hour earlier and there was a couple or three inches on the ground and cars.
