Copied the super stocks at the local drags with my 63 Falcon. Rear wheels were either white or half white half black. Raised the rear slightly. 63 falcon001.jpg

Bongo’s were cool. Couldn’t play them, but had to have em.

For me it had to be the chrome exhaust tips that clamped on with a set screw. Had to finish that new dual exhaust off right even though the paint was peeling off and the rockers were rotting off the car. I even put that chrome tip on my then-gf's 2000 Dodge Neon. Hot **** then.

In the early 60's i drove over to Van Nuys Ca., to Muntz stereo. When you drove in the lot a young woman would walk out in a bunny out fit, like the ******* bunnies wear, and she would have you park the car and take you inside to show their tape players and stereo's. I bought a new 4 track Blue light player. Muntz was quite the man with his business idea's.

All most worked, idea! Found a cheep battery powered 45 record player {one at a time player}small enough for my glove box/was a 53 Desoto dash mounded in a Henry J. Got mounted in G-box OK,and if I was parked level and no one moved much it did play a 45. But ya could not move around parked at sub races with your gal,so scratched up one of my sisters fav. 45s.Never told her how it got scratched. LOL
Bongo's,who would ever had those? Don't look too close at photo of my full custom "J" back in 1962 show.

I cast an aluminum goofy foot gas pedal in my junior high metal shop cl***. I wish I still had it. Most of my cars are '60s style, and most of them have goofy foot gas pedals installed because I like the way they look. They do also have a practical side, though. Not long after I moved to Phoenix, I drove my '63 Impala back home to the San Jose are to visit my family. It's about a 13 hour drive, after about 10 hours on the road, the narrow, stock gas pedal felt like I was pushing down on a carving knife with my Chuck Taylors. Since then, I have made many long distance trips in that car and several of my others, now with goofy foot pedals installed, I have not had that problem again.
