I think the 55/56's need their own page. My car is very mildly custom since I'm running a 57 carb and manifold plus a pcv. Disc brakes are in the future. Otherwise it's original

 

Mine was nosed and decked in the 60s.

I love the cars. My first was a 56 Vic. I have been looking and have let some get away that I regret.

 

Now we're getting somewhere! ^^^

 

here is a old picture of one on many 56 fords I once owned. It has a little boy hood ornament.

 

Does running a year newer intake, carb, and dist really equal custom? I mean they are still factory parts.

Im curious on this. Cause if so then my '56 is custom as well since it has a '60 2V intake on it with a '70s 2150 autolite carb.
