History Sewing Machine Special

    Does anyone have pics of an early A roadster run on the salt which was called The Sewing Machine Special.
    Red in colour, on mid to late 30s Willys chassis, Willys running gear including running gear. McCulloch supercharger.

    There is an article on this car in Rod & Custom #6 done in 1978. Didn't scan the whole article because the magazine spine isn't in that great a shape. Scan-180708-0001.jpg

    Thanks guys,
    Luv the look of this car. It combines two favourites of mine: model A and willys all wrapped up into a great looking car.

    Tony Barron who's dad did the motor remembers the car somewhat, might contact him.
