Thanks. It's a really fun car, drives and handles very well, but it can be really unruly and stupid if you want it to be.

I love what is happening on this thread. Although I am English there are people here who view British sports cars as if they are sacrosanct almost like religious artefacts.

With a few exceptions I like such cars but they have a lot of shortcomings, largely performance.
Allard J2 excepted which was I believe available with Cadillac power in uk.

The approach on here is a breath of fresh air and will upset quite a few purists (who are unlikely to venture on here anyway)

Each to their own but please keep this style of build alive.

It is developing the Sunbeam Tiger/ Cobra concept and so is in a sense very traditional.

    I had a 55 Healey 100-4 with a 289 Ford in the mid 60s.
Oh the joy taking the interior apart to change the rear spark plugs.
Leaky side curtains and unexpected 180 and 360 spins on rainy days added immensely to the enjoyment.

Perhaps not the right place to post this... but it's a great story. Gary

DSC00726.JPG here's a little sweetie I am just finishing, its going on a chassis dyno today. The original 260" is rebuild and bagged up, this is a 302" with 4spd toploader, dana rear and the same traction bar setup thats on a 427" GT500 we're doing as well. We build this one in about 3 months and it is the funnest thing to drive, it holds you against the seat as you row thru the gears, very impressive. DSC00606.JPG DSC00674.JPG

Not exactly a sports car when I started, but it gave the sporty cars fits in the mountains of Tn. I would put some wide wheels and tires on the front and go hunting. Aluminum headed 5.0 Ford with full manual AOD . Mustang 2 front end . Pete & Jake's Ladder bars and coil overs. DSCF0952.JPG
