I just got these together from some I bought on ebay. The are early Scott injectors. They are pretty cool I can't wait to see how they work. I have a few articles on Rod and Custom from 1958 that talk about the tests they ran them through they were impressed. They are basically a controlled fuel leak thought a single stomberg jet above the venturis. They are going on my 312 and I can't wait to test and tune them.
They are cool. I have a friend who has the same setup on a flatty manifold, but it hasn't made it onto a car yet. I found this advert online when searching for information for him a while back ... http://home.cogeco.ca/%7Escott-injection/ad004.jpg
Flatheaded has a pair. You can PM him, he has some info on them. You gona have a new ride at Watertown this year??
Hello Lucky, Here is a link to some info I found on these injectors. I've got 2 that I picked up last year. Haven't had time to mess with them but would like to see if I could get them to work on my flathead. Good luck to you. We'll be at Back to the 50's also, maybe we'll run into you. Take care! Send me your Email in a PM and I will send you the info I have. That web site is cool I looked at it quite a bit.
Those are really neat,I have never seen them before. I am surprised Tommy here on the HAMB has not responded to this yet. He seems to always have a picture or a story of this odd out of the ordinary speed equipment, I always look forward to these post and his responses. Let us know how they work.
I have one, and am looking for a partner for it for my banger project if anyone knows of a lonely one Thanks H
On the V8's they are setup with a progressive tri-power, as they are only really good for full throttle use. If you are putting it on a 4 cyl, you would probably only need to use one carb plus one injector on a progressive linkage that comes in on full throttle. You could make a tubing log manifold that has a 4-barrel bolt pattern and then use one of 2x2 adaptors to run one 94 or 97 and the fuel injector. http://www.eelco-usa.com/images/4v2x2adapter.jpg
