This is just a simple kookie spinoff that I envisioned and had many a chuckle as I put it together...This game is 1964ish and as a kid growing up in the sixties and seventies it was hard not to know about it and when I saw the Radical Hotrod/Custom I posted I for some reason thought of the plastic bubble...:D

I am pretty good at naming songs within the first few notes but the words...Uh Uh

So I was wondering about what the saved pennies and dimes bought. I thought 4 speed, dual quad and posi. But then I thought gas for the big lunger...naw so I checked it out...its the darn whole car...there ya go...

"Well, I saved my pennies and I saved my dimes (Giddyup, giddyup, 4-0-9)
For I knew there would be a time (Giddyup, giddyup, 4-0-9)
    When I would buy a brand new 4-0-9 (4-0-9, 4-0-9)"

    Good one Mark...

    Hello,

When we were at Lions Dragstrip between 58-60, one of the topics was how fast the Sidewinder build of Paul Nicolini and Joe Mailliard would be at ½ mile races at Riverside Raceway and maybe, the all out runs at Bonneville. We always liked the way it sounded at the drags, how it performed and how streamlined it was in design.

My brother thought because of the streamlined body and great motor from Joe Mailliard, it would be a record setter at Bonneville. A few gear changes, new streamlined Moon Discs or Titanium wheels and it would have been ready to go at a moment’s notice. My thought was that he liked the race car because Joe Mailliard’s Shop was a couple of blocks from our home in the Westside of Long Beach and my brother is/was loyal to the drag racing, “locals.”

This was a topic of discussion in the later years, as I always thought there would be too much to cover and make it totally streamlined. He always said, “It would have been a contender…”

    1932 Ford Econowood Wagon

This concept was inspired after numerous long conversations with my good friend (RIP) Bluto. He joked that I should "imagineer a woodie wagon as if designed by Edsel Ford and Bob Gregorie in 1932 and decades before Volkswagen did their own rear engine transporter bus". This was the final result of all our fun conversations.
