O/T rain in New England-SUCKS........

    Hope everyone is doing OK with the rain we have been getting, Check out the pics of our backyard.
    Friend of ours (and hot rodder) Dracut Roadrunners Prez lost almost everything- there is water 7 ft high in his house :(

    That ****s!! Were OK here on top of Mt Wachusett. We're building an ark!
     
  3. That's a sure sign of rain where I come from, looks like a typical summer day in New Zealand!
     
  4. Pretty bad up here in NH. Looks like rain off and on for at least another week.

    I thought we had it bad, but 7 feet high? That's rough.
    Water got up to and past the barn, but the Buick stayed high and dry.

    Yeah - he lives right near the Merrimack River. He said the water rose in almost 1n hour from slush in the ba*****t to evacuation. Everything is damaged I guess- saved the car:D , kids and wife and not much else from water damage.

    May need to start up a donate a thon for household things once he figures out what they need- may hev to level the house he said ..:(

    Pretty wet here in Manchester too. Lot of flooded ba*****ts and roads washed out.

    Anyone know if Home Depot carries gopher wood and "cubit" tapemeasures? I'm thinking of starting a little boat building project... Things ain't so bad down my way (CT border), but My in-laws live in Salem NH. Their condo is high-n-dry but I'll bet their old house in Tyngsboro is beachfront by now. Stay safe and keep us in the loop on what your buddy needs.
