Hot Rods 2003 Bonneville pictures

Here are some photos from the 2003 Bonneville meet sent to me by an old Russetta lakes racer/friend Larry Florentino. I thought some might enjoy seeing these photos.
1 Don Ferguson Jr. modified roadster - 265 mph

 

More. This is The Ferguson GMC powered streamliner - photo marked 300 mph.

 

Now the Don Ferguson slingshot (dragster) The photo says 211 mph.

 

Here are two more photos. As you might guess these these photos came from a friend of the Fergusons. Larry was a member of the RTA Rod Riders club back in the early 1950s when I was running at the Lakes . These pictures are marked as an Ardun powered roadster, on gas, from Florida. Speed is marked as 190 mph.

 

I believe the blue roadster was Wille Glass from West Virginia. 2003 was a great year. I joined the 200 MPH Club in our Sinner 12 port GMC Fuel roadster@ 210.9....
