A Parisienne is the equivalent to a Bonneville, only with a shorter nose. its actually (like all Canadian Pontiacs) on a Chevy Ch***is.
Do they look like a Pontiac that year? Some of the late 60's Canadian Pontiacs look just like a Chevy, except they have a funny grille and taillights.
Will you jack***es quit with the arguing. The car looks identical to any 67 Pontiac. 67 chances are it has the fastback roof. Outwardly it is identical to an american car, but probably had a 327 or 283 under the hood. Good luck with finding the car.
Jeesus, there's some ignorant people on here. Probably half of you dumb fux don't even know where Canada is.
I stand corrected! The 67 does look like a real Pontiac. Now, a beaumont on the other hand... That's just a Chevy in drag.
Just trying to lighten things up a little. What's the matter, is all the beer and ***** frozen up there? -North right?
No, the beer is flowing pretty good. That's what makes me write these things. Perhaps it's the lack of ***** that makes me cranky. Sorry........
If it shows up in toronto I will notice it. I used to have a 66' Pontiac Parisienne Custom Sport Convertable in triple black (its in finland now). They are full size pontiac bodies on a impala frame. The wheelbase difference was taken out of the main body between the rear wheelwell and the door opening. They generally are like a Ventura/Catalina body on a impala frame. The 2+2 was like the Grand Prix except they could be had with 396 and 427 power.
Hmmm. I thought more like, if you stick a pushbroom on the bumper it would look like it was wearing a Groucho Marx fake nose and gl***es.... Anyways, good luck finding it. Unless some collector just had to have one, it doesn't make much sense to steal this - short of a rare motor they just aren't worth a heck of a lot. Have a pair of '66 US-model ragtops here that need the works, and I discovered you can get a running, showable one with a tri-power for around $6,000 - or about what it would cost to have the bodywork and paint done on one of these. The Canada one, I doubt is much different. To me that means you're looking either for a local chopshop and it will turn up less motor and trans somewhere, or kids stole it simply because it's easy to steal them this old - you just have to hotwire it to get it going. Which is not good, because that means it will probably turn up trashed.
