New guy from Oregon

New guy here from the Portland, Oregon area. I’ve always been kind of a lurker on this website but finally decided to create an account. Always been a car guy, mostly stuck around minitrucks and stuff on air ride. I’m finally picking up my first cl***ic, a 1931 Model A Sport Coupe. My grandpa had restored a Model A roadster and a roadster pickup. He snagged this sport coupe and started on the restoration but p***ed away before he could finish it. All of his collection went to his son except the sport coupe. My grandma told me I should make a hotrod out of it since he was such a purist. So that’s what I’m going to do. I’ll post pictures here soon after I grab it from southern Oregon. Here is my current project.

Intros are great etiquette. But "modern" vehicles are taboo.

 

this is the only photo I have of a 31 Sport Coupe that was given to me. It’s since changed to a yellow and black paint scheme with a black top. It will soon be chopped and lowered to be a little hot rod.
