Hot Rods Where's falfa's 55?

so I know one was crashed. I've heard different stories on the 2 remaining 55's. So anyone know for sure where they are today?

 

It was one of three 2 Lane Black Top car's.

I should have bought the '55 and the coupe for $1500 each when I had the chance back in '72!

 

the coupe and the 55 was hear in Wichita at one time not real sure but I think they were the real deal

 

The actual 55 is located in a private storage locker in north Hollywood. Current value, $150,0000.

Found a couple of pictures of cars while movie was in production.

 

I know I’m going to get hell for this but...... the movie is silly no story or point if you ask me.

I still love it for the racing and the 55 !!

But let’s face it if this movie was made without a gto and a souped up 55 it would have ****ed ***!

Could you imagine this flick with a e-type jag and a thunder chicken having the same effect ?

 

Make that E-cups instead and see what happens?

 

I don't recall a GTO in AG, were GTO's even out in '62?

AG is a great movie !!

 

2 lane blacktop was lame but it was fun for a car freak who liked racing. Sometimes we just want to see a fun movie that we don't have to think too hard to keep up with.
I think I have DVDs of both movies stashed away in my movie stash. I think I bought 2 lane blacktop off Amazon for less than the price of a good craft beer a few years ago.

 

I bet this guy knows where it is... but he's not tellin'!

 

I don't know why I'm even participating in this car movie ****, but you guys should know it's a frequent subject.
