Picked up a mostly stock, mechanically restored, amateur painted 29 roadster pickup last week which has since become my dd having sold off my daily rides. Fairly original except for the 12 volt conversion. It shares berth with my deuce pickup that I am slowly finishing up that has to be completed for Deuce Days next year. No major changes at this time but would like to add some speed parts to the banger in the future as well as ditch the 4wd look with 16`s. De blinging as I go, stone guard, goofy rad cap wings, license plate and shiny repro parts are slowly coming off. Tweaking the ugly out of it slowly and having a lot of fun with it.
Good looking truck, I've been using my 30 closed cab for a daily driver for 18 years. Sits outside and the paint is failing so plan on repainting it soon. From your location you need a closed cab for the winter, Make a good driver around town but not so good on the highway, 50-55 mph vehicle.
Not much of winter here on Vancouver island and basically a summer dd. Still have the modern conveniences of my wives dd for the rainy season. I will have the closed cab Deuce up and running shortly but in the meantime enjoying the A.
